Help, plan, and oversee the execution of a group.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and/or assist groups as assigned.
- Learn and implement the Shark Program curriculum.
- Attend designated swim meets assigned by Head Age Group Coach
- Attend monthly coach meetings virtually or in person.
- Administer daily workouts and follow a season plan.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Good standing with USA Swimming
- Be aware and adhere to all company policies
- Previous coaching and/or competitive swimming experience
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
- Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
- Microsoft Office (TEAMs, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Team Unify
- Hy-Tek Swimming Software
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, parents, and membership.
- Skills in program planning and development.
- Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
- Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
- Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
