Full-Time Assistant Coach
Effective Date: August 1, 2026
Supervisor: CEO/Head Coach, and Head Age Group Coach
General Purpose:
The Senior Assistant Coach will work directly with the Head Coach and Head Age Group coach in all aspects of the program. This position will primarily be responsible for leading a 14&Under group, and assisting with the Senior and/or National groups.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Help design and execute lesson/curriculum plans for Age Group and Senior programs as assigned.
Coordinate travel and expenses with COO/Business Director.
Attend swim meets as assigned.
Attend weekly staff and coach meetings, as assigned.
Administer daily workouts and following a season plan.
Responsible for swim meet entries, communication, etc. for the athletes you coach, or as assigned.
Responsible for group attendance, and communicating group move ups.
Maintain daily office hours in addition to coaching responsibilities.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Expectations:
Good standing with USA Swimming
4-year College Degree
Lifeguard certification or willingness to complete within 30 days.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
Microsoft Office (TEAMs, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Team Unify
Hy-Tek Swimming Software
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, parents, and membership.
Previous experience in season planning, training systems, and program-wide progression.
Willingness to travel for both swim meets and professional development.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.

Competitive salary range based on experience $40,000-45,000
